The Kenworthy lab is interested in understanding how membrane nanodomains such as lipid rafts and caveolae assemble and function in health and disease. They address these questions using a combination of live cell imaging, cell biology, biophysics, and biochemical approaches. They collaborate with structural biologists, biomathematicians, physical chemists and clinicians to understand these processes more holistically.
