Tom Fletcher is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as the Department of Computer Science. He received his B.A. degree in Mathematics at the University of Virginia in 1999. He received an M.S. in Computer Science in 2002 followed by a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2004 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research has been recognized with six best paper awards in the top image analysis and computer vision conferences (MICCAI, IPMI, ISBI, ICCV) and journals (MedIA, Signal Processing).
